Starting a business without having ZERO prior experience is not easy.

Me and my best fren plans to open a small kopitiam (food shop) selling economy rice and chicken rice. We took delivery of the shop at Taman Segar, Cheras, KL just prior to the lunar new year and small renovation is already underway. Another good fren from hometown will run the place as he has food ind experience.

 There are so many areas to cover ie :-

 1. licensing from local authorities

2. sign board contractor

3. renovation contractor

4. staffing

5. Products

6. sub letting of stall

7. good suppliers

8. equipments

9. etc etc etc etc etc

 Since I m in Indo, my frens have been doing all this on their own……I only give opinions thru sms and expensive phone calls from here. Competition is keen in this area and I am bit worried about this. In addition, a few people advised that our shop is at the wrong lane in this area ! making me even more worried……….
